ABOUT US

Vijay Foundation stands as Delhi-NCR’s premier government-registered non-governmental organization (NGO), established on July 7, 2017, to honor the extraordinary sacrifice of Vijay Kumar Mehto, affectionately known as ‘Bikau.’ This remarkable young man gave his life protecting a child during a brutal home invasion in 1997, embodying the highest ideals of courage, selflessness, and human dignity.

Operating as a registered trust under the Indian Trusts Act, Vijay Foundation has earned prestigious recognition through Section 80G and 12A tax exemptions, NITI Aayog registration (ID: UP/2018/0198217), and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) registration (No.: CSR00075840). These credentials underscore our commitment to transparent, accountable, and impactful social service.

Over the years, Vijay Foundation has emerged as one of the top 10 NGOs in the Delhi-NCR region, delivering transformative programs across multiple domains. Our work encompasses women empowerment through comprehensive POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) workshops, child protection under POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act, literacy and education initiatives, environmental conservation, free legal aid in accordance with Article 39A of the Constitution, health and wellness camps, and disability rights advocacy.

From our inception in 2017 through 2025, we have meticulously documented and executed over 50 major events and initiatives, serving thousands of beneficiaries across diverse communities—from underprivileged slums to corporate offices, from judicial institutions to educational facilities. Our operational excellence is characterized by zero administrative overhead, ensuring that every rupee donated directly funds programs that change lives.
Our collaborative approach brings together key stakeholders including Delhi Police for domestic violence intervention, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) for legal aid camps, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) for environmental initiatives, government schools and colleges for educational programs, judiciary bodies for POSH training, and leading corporates such as HPCL, GAIL, RBI, and PNB for CSR partnerships.

At the heart of our organization lie four core values: Courage, inspired by Bikau’s heroic sacrifice; Empathy, driving our service to marginalized communities; Integrity, ensuring transparent operations and accountable governance; and Commitment, reflecting our unwavering dedication to human social responsibilities. What We Do

Know More About POSH Trainer

Mamta Shukla is a certified POSH Trainer and has 10 years of experience in practising at Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, District Courts and various Tribunals.

She has expertise in laws related to crime against women such as Sexual Harassment at Workplace. She trains, mentors and empowers rights and responsibilities of women and is instrumental in conducting awareness programs on POSH and getting it implemented.

She has trained thousands of employees on “Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace” at HPCL (Mumbai) INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT ( MUMBAI , BHOPAL) RESERVE BANK OF INDIA (MUMBAI ),PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK (BOKARO, RANCHI), MALYALI WOMEN ASSOCIATION (EAST DELHI).

She has also served as an EXTERNAL MEMBER OF INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE (ICC) for HPCL North Zone (Delhi) for 6 years.

She is a regular guest speaker on subjects related to law pertaining to women and children on TV, Radio and Social media platforms including Lok Sabha TV and Doordarshan, All India Radio at Delhi and Lucknow, You Tube channels of Saral Baat and Vijay Foundation.
