Major Initiatives 2017–2025
Since 2017, Vijay Foundation has organised more than 50 major initiatives across Delhi–NCR, benefitting thousands of children, women, youth, senior citizens and persons with disabilities. Each event is documented with participant numbers and pre‑/post‑assessments to ensure measurable change and transparent reporting to our stakeholders.
2017–2019
In‑school management workshops and exam‑motivation talks for students in government and low‑income schools.
Domestic violence awareness drives in slum communities, focusing on helplines, legal remedies and support systems.
Anti‑drug seminars in Janakpuri and plastic‑ban campaigns in 12 schools to promote healthy, responsible lifestyles among youth.
Tree plantation drives in Dwarka and POCSO awareness lectures for NGOs serving more than 150 visually impaired students.
2020–2021
COVID‑19 response through ration kit distribution to affected families, along with online health and legal awareness webinars.
Operation of legal helplines to guide citizens on their rights during the pandemic.
Women’s self‑defence camps to strengthen personal safety skills during a period of increased violence and vulnerability.
Collaboration with Delhi Police to support and strengthen helplines for domestic violence and emergency assistance during lockdowns.
2022–2023
Street plays on dowry, child labour and other social issues, performed in public and institutional spaces to reach diverse audiences.
Menstrual hygiene and women’s health workshops, free legal aid camps on consumer and cyber rights, and cyberbullying awareness programs.
POCSO and child‑safety awareness camps in partnership with judicial institutions and legal experts.
2024–2025
Expanded corporate POSH training for employees at HPCL, RBI, PNB and sensitisation programs for the Income Tax Department.
Radio and TV broadcasts on child protection and workplace harassment through national and regional media platforms.
High‑level legal panel discussion at India International Centre moderated by Justice Krishna, focusing on gender justice and workplace safety.
Vijay Vision Awards and Surshan Memorial Awards ceremonies celebrating social change‑makers and cultural contributors.
Specialised gender‑safety sessions for airline staff in Rajasthan to address workplace and travel‑related risks.
These efforts have improved academic performance for hundreds of underprivileged students and equipped thousands of women, children, police personnel, and corporate employees with critical knowledge on legal rights, safety, and health practices.
Together, these initiatives reflect Vijay Foundation’s commitment to long‑term, structured social transformation rather than one‑time charity.
