Governance Structure & Accountability

Vijay Foundation follows a transparent and accountable governance framework aligned with statutory and ethical standards for public charitable trusts. Strategic oversight is provided by the Board of Trustees, supported by subject-matter experts, legal advisors, and program coordinators.
Decision-making prioritizes beneficiary impact, legal compliance, and financial prudence. All major programs are planned through need assessments, implemented with partner institutions, and reviewed through outcome-based evaluation. Vijay Foundation is legally constituted as a Public Charitable Trust under the Indian Trusts Act. It holds 80G and 12A exemptions under the Income Tax Act, enabling donors to claim tax deductions. Its NITI Aayog registration (ID UP/2018/0198217) and CSR registration number (CSR00075840) ensure compliance with national oversight, making it eligible for corporate funding. The foundation upholds strict transparency and accountability: audited financials and activity reports are made available to donors, reflecting its commitment to good governance.
