Joined All India Radio as Transmission Executive in 1988. Years later retired as Indian Broadcast (Programme) services officer. Was Head of Programme AIR Agra, Head of Office AIR Kanpur and retired as Head of programme Doordarshan Lucknow in Nov, 2023.
As broadcaster I have been instrumental in launching and establishing FM Rainbow Lucknow. Have been in charge of sports, Talks, Feature, Youth, Science and Drama programmes for quite a time. Apart from F M broadcasting and radio features I have taken special interest in sports programmes.
